Streams of Joy 2nd January 2025 Daily Devotional (Thursday) Message
TOPIC: The God That Sees
“Hagar thought, “Have I really seen God and lived to tell about it?” So from then on she called him, “The God Who Sees Me.”” (Genesis 16: 13 CEV)
In our Focal Scripture, Hagar described God as the God who sees her. Hagar was in the wilderness, in a place of dryness, on account of what she did wrong, yet the eyes of God went all the way to where she was. She was in a place where no man could see her, but the eyes of God were available to see her. She was in obscurity, but the eyes of El Roi saw her. She was just one person amongst multitudes on earth, but El Roi saw her.
Friend, in 2025, walk in the consciousness that El Roi sees you. Be conscious of the fact that there is a God Whose eyes are on you. Be conscious of the fact that El Roi sees you in your wilderness. Be conscious of the fact that El Roi sees whatever you have been through or are going through. Be conscious of the fact that El Roi sees you when life turns against you. Keep it in mind that El Roi sees.
In 2025, El Roi sees every battle you are faced with. El Roi sees every conspiracy against you. El Roi sees that medical report that is not in your favour. El Roi sees how dry your wilderness has become. El Roi sees the arrows that are shot at you. El Roi sees when men cannot see. El Roi notices what men cannot notice. El Roi sees where your strength is small. El Roi sees where you are tired of fighting. El Roi sees when you can’t deal anymore.
El Roi saw Hagar in the wilderness, but He did not leave her in the wilderness. This year, get set: the eyes of El Roi that see you in the wilderness will not leave you in the wilderness. The eyes of El Roi that are faced in your direction will not let you remain where you are. El Roi will take you out of dryness. El Roi will change your story for good. El Roi will dismantle the systems that are against you. El Roi will dethrone the thrones against you.
All year long, hold on to El Roi, the God who sees you when no one else seye you. If El Roi be for you, you will not remain in the wilderness.
Psalm 33: 18 says: “Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;”
TODAY’S DECLARATION: In 2025, the eyes of El Roi see me, in Jesus’ name!
