Streams of Joy 22nd November 2024 Daily Devotional (Friday) Message
TOPIC: For Your Good
“And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” (Acts 16: 26)
In our Focal Scripture, there was an earthquake following the prayers and praises sang by Paul and Silas; and immediately, all doors were opened and all shackles were broken. An earthquake is an element of nature; so, God went into nature and used it to accomplish His will for Paul and Silas. God used the element of nature to announce His works in the lives of Paul and Silas. God used the instrumentality of nature to work for them.
Friend, God is about to use everything around you to proclaim His goodness towards you. God is about to use everything around you to announce you on another level. God is about to use everything around you to decide your destiny. God is about to use everything around you to promote you. God will use everything around you to open new doors for you. God is about to use regular things to do the extraordinary for you.
Ordinarily, an earthquake would cause disasters and destruction; but in this case, it merely announced the liberation of Paul and Silas. The same thing that had the reputation of doing something negative turned around and worked wonders for Paul and Silas. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the same things that have capacity to work negativity will turn around and work for your good. Those who are reputed to hurt will come to you and help.
God will use both good and evil to promote your interest. God will position men around you to make His will for you come to pass. God will commission the elements of nature to grant you positive outcomes. God will use even the rising of the sun to work in your favour. God will use the rain to align what is destined for you. God will use nature as a raw material for your rising. God will use the ordinary to do the unbelievable.
Welcome to that season where the ordinary will be used by heaven to do the extraordinary. Welcome to a season where the things around you will work in your favour.
Romans 8: 28 says: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
DECLARATION: Everything around me will align in my favour, in Jesus’ name!
