Streams of Joy 13th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Thursday) Message
TOPIC: Wrongly Postured
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 13
“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.” (Luke 13: 11)
Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the woman which had the spirit of infirmity was bowed together. Some translations say she was ‘bent over’. Her situation gave her a posture that kept her face toward the ground. Notice that this woman was not necessarily short as per her height; but her posture meant that she could only see things below her level. Her posture meant that she could only keep her eyes on things below her true height.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every demonic posture that has bent you to the point of seeing what is below your destiny mandate, I command it to be reversed. I reverse every demonic posture that says you will have less than what you truly deserve. I reverse every demonic posture that is feeding you what your destiny has outgrown. I reverse every posture that causes you to operate below your potentials and abilities.
In whatever area where your destiny has been bent, I command a reversal. Wherever your finances have been bent, I command a reversal. Wherever your access to opportunities has been bent, I command a reversal. Wherever your health has been bent, I command a reversal. Wherever your destiny mandate has been bent, I command a reversal. Wherever men have bent your life so that you can be less, I command a reversal.
Jesus did not redeem you so that your life can remain bent. He didn’t redeem you so that you will operate sub-optimally. He didn’t redeem you so that your destiny can feed on immaturity. He didn’t redeem you so that you can be less when you should be more. You were redeemed to abundant life. You were redeemed to a life that is in Christ and Christ in God. You were redeemed to a life that the enemy cannot subtract from.
No longer shall it be said that your posture denied you of heaven’s allocation to you. No longer shall it be said that you got less than what God designed for you.
John 10: 10 says: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
DECLARATION: I will not be offered what is below my destiny mandate, in Jesus’ name!
