Streams of Joy 13th April 2025 Devotional (Sunday) Message

SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 8:26-39
MEMORY VERSE
“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Corinthians 16: 9)
FOCUS VERSE:
“And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.” (Luke 8: 30)
In our Focal Scripture, the demons in the man that came to Jesus, identified themselves as legion, because they were many. In the oriental milieu where these events happened, a legion consisted of several thousands of soldiers. A legion was usually led by a cavalry that bore big shields, to stop arrows from hitting the soldiers. There was a fortification around legions to stop anyone from breaking their ranks and hitting them.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every arrangement of hell to make it difficult for you to hit your target, I decree, let the fire of God answer. I dismantle every satanic roadblock that the enemy has set up to stop your success. I dismantle every satanic system of hell that the enemy has planted on your way to make you lose your battles. I dismantle every iron gate that is stopping you from transiting to your next level.
Every shield that the enemy has put in order to make you fire again and again without hitting your target, I decree, that shield goes down now. Every system that the enemy has put in place to make sure that you do not achieve what you set out to achieve, I decree, it will not stand. I bring down every satanic shield. I dismember every satanic arrangement. I break down every wall locking you out of your Jericho.
Whenever cavalries in the legion raised their shields to stop opposing arrows of their enemies, the only way to hit at them was to hit from above. Even if the enemy has set up shields to stop your arrows from hitting their targets, you will win as you rely on help from above. The opposition that you ordinarily cannot dismantle will go down when heaven throws stones on them from above. You will win from above, despite shields.
That arrangement that says you will not win, will be dismantled by the power of God. Welcome to that season where the arrangements of the enemy will not stop your results.
DECLARATION:
Hidden roots of wickedness and hidden commanders against me, let fire answer, in Jesus’ name!
