Streams of Joy 12th April 2025 Devotional (Saturday) Message
TOPIC: Satanic Commanders
MEMORY VERSE
“But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.” (Matthew 15: 13)
SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 8:26-39
FOCUS:
“And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.” (Luke 8: 30)
In our Focal Scripture, the demons in the life of the demon possessed man identified themselves as a legion. In the milieu during which these events happened, a legion consisted of nearly seven thousand soldiers. Their commanders were usually not seen, but the commanders gave instructions to the soldiers on who to attack. A commander could literally get you fighting with someone and then send someone else to get you killed.
When the enemy shows up as a legion, you may find yourself fighting with issues, without knowing where the command for your battles, is coming from. When you are dealing with a legion formation, you would be making efforts to win, but will be facing undercurrents that cause you to lose, and you can’t even place a finger on them. When you face a legion formation, you could be fighting one soldier, but there is a multitude waiting to fight you.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: whatsoever that is hidden behind your battles, causing demonic undercurrents, I command it to scatter by fire. Every demonic commander that is secretly giving directions for your downfall, let fire answer. Whatsoever that is behind the scene that is throwing punches at you, I command their evil hands to wither. Every evil working against you behind the scenes, I command it to scatter by fire.
Every root of the negativity you are battling with, I command it to die by fire. Every root of the battles you are faced with, I command it to wither by fire. Every root of the health challenges you are faced with, I command it to go down by fire. Every root of wickedness that the enemy has positioned around you, I decree, let fire answer. Let the fire of God arise and scatter every hidden commander that is energizing your battles.
I pray for you: let the fire of God smoke out every demonic commander that is hiding behind the scenes to wreak havoc in your life. Let the fire of God consume every hidden root of wickedness against you.
DECLARATION:
Every negativity that has multiplied in my life, be reversed, in Jesus’ name!
