TOPIC: Joy: A Doorway To Potentials Release

SCRIPTURE: Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Joy is a doorway to potentials release. Confidence affects competence, and excitement affects delivery.

The Scripture makes it clear that joy is a doorway to potentials release.

Isaiah 12:3 says,
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

You deliver at your best in the climate of excitement, and your worst comes out in the atmosphere of depression. The climate of depression cripples the potentials of man.

Sometime ago, I was doing a recording, and when I was done, my wife looked at me and said, “Do you want to do it again?” I said, “I think so.” She said, “I think you should do it again. The way you were looking, it looked like you didn’t record what you wanted to record. You didn’t deliver the way you wanted to deliver. You didn’t speak the way you wanted to speak.” And I said, “You are absolutely correct.”

So, we did the recording again. This time around, I deployed my strength maximally. And when she saw me very excited, she said, “Now the recording is done well.” And I said, “Yes.”
Beloved, do not go out for any presentation in the climate of sadness. It is better not to do it at all than to do it shabbily and unexcitedly. People stepped into an examination hall and failed the examination even when they knew the answer, all because of depression. People have failed at the place of work because of tension from the house.

If you are someone who does public presentation, even the way you appear can affect how you present. If you are not sure of how you look, go and check yourself again, because you can’t go up until you feel up. Joy is a doorway to potentials release. Confidence affects competence, and excitement affects delivery.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make the choice for joy and excitement.
2. Avoid depression, anxiety and worry.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to make the choice for permanent joy and excitement. Help me to release the potentials in me through the vehicle of joy and excitement, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
