THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To live profitably on earth and fulfil destiny, you must not live a life that is up today and down tomorrow spiritually.
Seeds of Destiny Thursday 23 January 2025 – MESSAGE
It has been confirmed that maintaining a fervency of spirit and intimacy with God is a pathway to fulfilling destiny. On the other hand, spiritual lukewarmness is an enemy of destiny.
Romans 12:11 says, Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. To live profitably on earth and fulfil destiny, you must not live a life that is up today and down tomorrow spiritually. You must live perpetually in the secret place of the Most-High.
It was Smith Wigglesworth who once said, “You must always live ready. For example, if a demon-possessed person is brought to you for deliverance, you don’t seek permission to go and get ready before coming back later to deliver the person, you live ready for such emergency situations.
Many people are defeated in the battles of life because they do not live ready. It is important to know that life is a battleground and not a playground. Whether you are interested in battles or not, life is a battle ground. And so, you must live ready always with this consciousness. And one way to live ready is by the maintenance of fervency of Spirit and intimacy with God.
Beloved, are you fervent in the Spirit serving the Lord? Do you have a functional relationship with God? Or are you a lukewarm or cold Christian, spiritually? Revelation 3:15-16 says, I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. My counsel is, make up your mind never to be lukewarm in life. Always maintain a consistent prayer schedule with God and live ready.
Remember this: To live profitably on earth and fulfil destiny, you must not live a life that is up today and down tomorrow spiritually.
ASSIGNMENT:

- Maintain a consistent prayer schedule with God to be on spiritual fire always.
PRAYER: Father, I ask that You set my life on fire once again. I receive the grace and discipline to maintain a consistent prayer schedule with You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
