THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The level of dominion you have exercised so far is a function of your discoveries.
Many years ago, the man of God, Paul Yongi Cho tried to cast out a demon that was oppressing someone. He did everything he could, but the devil remained unmoved. Suddenly, he got a flash of light in his spirit, and he told the demon, “You must go out now! Two thousand years ago, my elder brother, Jesus Christ defeated you on my behalf and I stand in His shoes to ask you to go out.” Immediately, the devil said, “Hold on! I will go, but please do not tell anyone this secret because many people are not aware.”
Beloved, this story confirms that it is knowing who you are, and whose you are that gives you dominion in life.
In John 1:22-23, John was asked, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to them that sent us?” That is, “What do you say of yourself?” He replied, “I am the voice…” He did not say, “I am a voice. He said something like, ‘That voice you heard Isaiah spoke about, the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straight the way of the Lord, that voice you read about, I am that one” (John 1:22-23 paraphrased).
When Jesus said to His disciple, “Who do men say I am? Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the son of the Living God (Matthew 16:15-16). By that discovery, Jesus said to Peter, thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
That is, “Step into dominion by what you just discovered.” The truth is, until you know who you are, you don’t expect anybody to know who you are. Until your identity can be defined by you, obscurity remains your portion.
It is crucial to know who you are, and the Bible reveals that you are a chosen generation, a peculiar person, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). Personally, I am not confused as to who I am. I am a transmitter of God’s Presence; I am a mobile revival. You don’t come around me and not feel something, even if you are wood. I am a spiritual volcano in motion. And I and the sons that the Lord has given to me, we are for signs and wonder (Isaiah 8:18). Like people, like priest (Hosea 4:9).
Beloved, the devil is looking for your trouble because he is aware you don’t know who you are. There is something you will see that will make you shift in power, authority, audacity, and boldness. The level of dominion you have exercised so far is a function of your discoveries. Light is reflective. When you carry light, you don’t beg darkness; darkness excuses itself as light arrives. So, if you are lacking in power or dominion, step up in discoveries. Search the scripture and let God reveal you to you.
REMEMBER THIS: The level of dominion you have exercised so far is a function of your discoveries.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Locate scriptures that will position you as an authority in the realms you desire and meditate on them.
2. Surrender your will completely to God’s Will so your dominion can be established.
PRAYER: Lord, I surrender my will to Your Will. Please show me a revelation that will shift me to the realm of dominion and power with You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
