TOPIC: The Necessity of Divine Direction
SCRIPTURE: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Habakkuk 2:1.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Divine Direction is a vital necessity, not only for the Christian life, but also for existence as a whole.

You are welcome to the Month of July 2022, our Year of Overflowing Grace and Glory. We thank God for His Faithfulness in the first half of the year. As the second half of the year begins today, I decree that you shall experience overflowing grace and glory in greater dimensions in your life, in Jesus’ Name.

It has been made abundantly clear that Divine Direction is a vital necessity, not only for the Christian life, but also for existence as a whole. Divine Direction, that is, God leading or guiding a person is necessary for life and destiny fulfilment.

Now, the question is: why is Divine Direction such a vital necessity of life?
1. Life itself is at the mercy of Direction from God.
Your life is at the mercy of Divine Direction.
This is because people can die before their time for failing to hear or missing what God was trying to tell them.
2. People can be victims of wrong and disastrous relationships for lack of Divine Direction.
People can become victims of wrong and even disastrous relationships for lack of direction from God. People can be victims of wrong friendship relationships, business relationships, or marital relationships because there was something God was trying to tell them that they could not hear.

For instance, God may be trying to tell them, “This person you call friend is not really a friend.” “This young man you are in a relationship with cannot be your husband.” “This young lady you are courting cannot be your wife.”
But they never heard what God was trying to tell them and so they became victims of wrong relationships. But that will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.
REMEMBER THIS: Divine Direction is a vital necessity, not only for the Christian life, but also for existence as a whole.

1. Make up your mind never to live without God’s Direction and Guidance.
2. Inquire from God at the place of prayer which way to go in life.
