Seeds of Destiny 14th March 2025 SOD Daily Devotional Reading Message
TOPIC: Transmitters of Light
SCRIPTURE: For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Psalm 36:9
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One Word from God can erase every form of darkness in your life.
It has been established that where there is light, darkness disappears. Light is critical to ending the dominion of darkness in every situation.
There are things that transmit light, and in today’s study, we shall focus on two key transmitters of light:
- The Word of God
The Word of God is a Transmitter of Light. John 1:1-5 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The Word of God is a transmitter of light. One word from God can erase every form of darkness in your life. It can destroy the darkness of sin, infirmity, and disease. To engage the Word of God is to embrace the light of liberation.
- The Presence of God
The Presence of God is a Transmitter of Light. The Presence of God is the Source of Light. Psalm 36:9 says, For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
The Presence of God carries light, and the purpose of His Presence is to dispel the darkness of sin, sickness, failure, curses, poverty, etc.
Beloved, whenever you spend time in God’s Presence through devotion and communion with Him, you are in touch with light. The assignment of this light-transmitting Presence is to root out everything in your life that was not planted by God.
This is my counsel to you: make up your mind to expel every form of darkness in your life by the light of God’s Word and the light of His Presence.
Remember this: One word from God can erase every form of darkness in your life.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Give attention to prayer and the study of the Word so you can access light to overcome darkness.
- Apply the Word to every situation of your life to experience the dominion power of light over darkness.
PRAYER:
Father, I receive the grace for prayer and the study of the Word. I erase every form of darkness in my life as I apply Your Word and engage in personal devotion to You, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
