SU DAILY GUIDE FOR TODAY 30TH SEPTEMBER 2023 MESSAGE:
We have a clarion call here to put our hope and confidence in God and not in man. When we walk in God’s ways, His Kingdom will come to us. There is joy, peace, and wholesome relationships where God reigns (vs.1-5).
There are lots of warnings in vs.6-21. There is judgment awaiting unbelief, pride, self-exaltation, and rebellion against God.
The people of Judah and Jerusalem indulged in practices abominable to God, like divination and child sacrifice. Money, possessions, and power had become their idols. They felt self-sufficient and trusted in their wealth and power instead of trusting in God. Compare Psalm 20:7. The judgment of God, when it arrives, will show no mercy to sinners. The good, the great and the ordinary will suffer the same punishment. This message is equally applicable to us now.
Can man hide from God? See Jeremiah 23:24. Pride goes before a fall. God alone will be exalted. There is no alternative to trusting God if you want a secure eternity.

Closing Prayer
Father God, I repent of my disobedience and rebellion towards you. Please accept me as I am because of Christ, my Lord.
Prayer for the week
► Pray for Christian ministries in Nigeria that their teachings will continue to be in tune with God’s word.
► Pray for the ministers that they will continue to walk in the light of God’s word.
► Pray against false teachings and messages that deceive people.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Proverbs 16:20
