Scripture Union Daily Guide Outline:
We have all seen large billboards with the photograph of an evangelist inviting people to come and see the miracles he would perform at an evangelistic crusade. The idea is that when people see the miracles, they would give their lives to Christ. If only it were true! Quite often, even the miracles performed by Jesus Christ Himself did not lead to faith in Him (e.g., Matthew 12:13-14).
Sadly, this was the story of the people of Israel again and again! Check out the miracles which God performed for the children of Israel (a) to provide for their needs (vs.23-25, 26-27) and (b) to deliver them from enemies (vs.42-51). The miracle of manna was still digesting in their stomachs when they rebelled against the Lord (vs.40-41)!
What a patient God we have! See how His compassion was demonstrated in vs.37-39). However, we should not presume upon the mercy of God. There comes a time when He says, “Enough is enough!” That was what happened to the children of Israel when He allowed the enemies to conquer them and carry them away into exile.

COUNCIL MEETING AT CAMP OF FAITH, OKIGWE. (COFO)
“For we are partners working together for God, and you are God’s field. You are also God’s building” 1 Cor. 3:9.
THANK GOD FOR:
‣ All the Council members across the nation as partners working together for God.
‣ The Spirit of Jesus that is always with them in decision making to move the Union forward.
PRAY FOR:
‣ Safety on all roads leading to the Camp of Faith, Okigwe.
‣ The atmosphere of the camp will be such that will encourage members of Council to flow well in the meeting.
‣ The Council Chairman who chairs the meeting for unction, direction and insight.
