DAILY GUIDE FOR TODAY – MARCH 26, 2024 MESSAGE
After the secret night trial, the crafty religious leaders led Jesus to Pilate for the final death sentence. They would not enter a Gentile’s hall for fear of defilement, but they did not hesitate to condemn an innocent man to death! Notice their reply to Pilate’s genuine question (v.30). What could be the implication had the Jews consented to Pilate’s directive in v.31? The Jews execute people by stoning, while the Romans carry out theirs by crucifixion. This was the only way Jesus had to die in order to bear our curse. See John 3:14-15.
Christ explained the spiritual nature of His kingdom to Pilate in response to his question (v.36). Pilate was obviously not interested in spiritual things. He behaved cowardly for lack of decisiveness based on his convictions (vs.38&39). How many of us today suppress our conscience to do evil because we fear people and would rather please them for what we would gain?
It is amazing how the world calls the good, bad, and takes the bad as good (v.40).

THANK GOD FOR:
• Sustaining the spouses and families of all our missionaries in SU Ministry.
PRAY FOR:
• Love and submission to prevail in the homes of our missionaries as a pattern for others to follow.
• Divine intervention for the children education of missionaries and support for the orphans among them.
• The Holy Spirit empowerment on the families of the missionaries for fruitful partnership in ministry.
PRAY AGAINST:
• The plans of the enemy contending with the spouses and children of the missionaries to prevent them from fulfilling their ministry.
