TOPIC: Husband Celebrate Your Wife
OPENING PRAYER: Dear Lord, grant me understanding and illumination as I ponder on your word in Jesus name.
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: SONG OF SONGS 6:1-7:9
QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION
• Q2: Is there any example for me to follow or not to follow?
• Q5: Is there any warning for me to heed?
Scripture Union Daily Guide 24th March 2024 MESSAGE:
Is there anything worthy of emulation in 6:1-3? Is she not blessed who has friends who identify with her at moments of despair? What a woman is this who is neither ignorant of the direction of her husband’s movement nor ever doubtful of her husband’s love (vs.2-3)! Godly women win their straying husbands by love that trusts and hopes (6:3, 11-12) with prayer and not by harsh treatment. This is equally true for godly men.
What is your understanding of 6:4-9? The man describes his beloved as perfect and unique! Indeed, from our readings of yesterday and today we see the beloved as having a blend of inner beauty and admirable appearance. People hardly appreciate the strength of their spouse until they become unfaithful or lose them. It is helpful to take account of your spouse’s beauty every time your heart is straying. You will realise there is none out there like yours (vs.8-9). When your spouse has touched your heart with inner beauty, it is important to make them know how much you appreciate them.

Together lead a godly life

CLOSING PRAYER
Lord, help me heed the warning of 1 Peter 3:7 and to relate with my wife as a co-heir of God’s Kingdom.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Genesis 28:13
“And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;”

• The Board Chairman and HOD, Rev. Chijioke Joseph; for the visionary and proactive leadership
• All the Youth \/ School Ministry programs executed and their impact in the lives of the youths\/ students.
PRAY FOR:
• Renewed vision and greater open doors of Ministry among Youths\/ Students.
• Wisdom to articulate suitable resource materials and training curriculum for the department
• God’s anointing upon our resource persons within the department for effective ministry.
PRAY AGAINST:
• All programs orchestrated by the devil to divert the attention of the youth from God through various vices including the internet.
