Outline: If we are listening, we can hear calls of Wisdom from the Church and from a variety of places and situations (v.20). Can you list some of the contents of wisdom’s appeal? Note also the possible responses. Many people can be foolish and ignore the calls of Wisdom (vv.24–25). Yet, our responses make all the difference, not only in time, but also in eternity.
It is possible to be so lost in our own foolish ways that it becomes difficult to get back to the path of Wisdom. What do vv.22 and 32 say about those who would not listen to the voice of Wisdom? It is a great privilege to cultivate the habit of listening regularly to the voice of Wisdom. One way to do that is to have a consistent “Quiet Time” (Bible meditation and prayer every day). As we read each portion and meditate on it, we allow the Holy Spirit to show us the way.

• Dear Lord, please teach me to set my heart to seek after Wisdom from above.
• Pray for those who also communicate the gospel some other ways ─ TV program, Radio Broadcasting, Drama/Film Productions, and Internet Publishing.
• Offer a prayer of faith in line with Psalm 23:4
