TOPIC: The Afflictions of the Righteous
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
– Psalm 34:19
If you’ve had many afflictions, it testifies of your righteousness. Healing is in the atonement of Jesus. According to His Word, Jesus was wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities, and the chastisement of my peace was laid upon Him, and with His stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Stand firmly on the Word of God. God’s Word is not defined by your experience, but His Word will define your experience. You can stand on the Word when there is nothing to stand on.
Jesus already conquered the adversary of your soul. The enemy is controlled, cast down, cast out and cast away. The Holy Spirit gives you the strength to resist the devil in word and deed.
You can go through your day dancing, shouting and praising God, because the enemy has already been defeated!
Lord, I will praise you at all times! No matter what afflictions come, you have called me righteous.
