TOPIC: God’s Divine Purpose
BIBLE READING: Leviticus 22-24
TEXT: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Gen. 1 :26.
God’s decision to make man birthed because He needed a manager. God had completed creation before He thought of man. He had to come down personally to inspect the things He had created. So He thought of creating man in His image and likeness to supervise His creation.
God created man to have dominion, to be accountable to Him, take orders from Him and discharge his duties as expected.
The image and likeness of God in man is to help him think like God, behave like God, take godly initiative and know the mind of God concerning His creating per time.
This is the reason God did not give dominion to a lion, elephant or tiger. He made a specie different from all He had made earlier and designed man for the purpose of having dominion. God designed man to be in charge.
As the redeemed of the Lord, you are to fulfill divine purpose by occupying your seat of dominion right here on earth where it is needed.
In that family, office, community, school you are to arise and shine forth by taking over. In every endeavour of life God expects His children to be in charge.
Whatever contrary experience, such as oppression, dehumanization is because believers are yet to occupy their seat of dominion in various endeavours of life.
I pray for you, you will arise from this day and dominate.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I awake to dominate.
