A Trigger of the Supernatural (2)
by Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman
BIBLE READING:Â Leviticus 13-15
TEXT: “His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”. John 2 :5.
In the scenario of the marriage in Cana of Galilee in John chapter 2; the obedience of the servants to divine command triggered the supernatural and the ceremony that would have ended in shame had another testimony.
Scripture says, “When the ruler of the feast had tested the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.” Vs 9 -10.
It is not enough to be commanded, you must go forward to obey the command promptly to trigger the supernatural. Good! The Master (Jesus) was in the ceremony, yet it would have ended with that negative report of no wine if the command of the Miracle Worker was not hearkened to. So that business of yours, ministry, marriage, career commissioned by God needs your continuous obedience to divine command to enjoy the supernatural acts of God in them.
Divine guidance is not once and for all, but a continuous leading, so be ready to obey when He commands.
Listen, in any position you are, don’t stop the flow the flow of the supernatural by your act of disobedience. You are a solution provider. The bridegroom never knew what took place. It was the servants that were the instruments of the miracle and marriage did not only had wine but the best.
Let your life of obedience to God bring joy to others.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I give myself to obeying your command. In Jesus Mighty Name.
