Rhema For Living 7 October 2022 OFM Devotional MESSAGE
Challenges and storms of life are not peculiar to you, but are common to man. Men are faced with all forms of challenges raging from academic, to health, to marital, to ministry, to relationships challenges etc. The difference between individuals is their reactions during such challenges.
While one believer acts in accordance with God’s word and stands firm because of knowledge, the other allows the challenges to drown him or her because of ignorance.
God never promised a challenge-free journey, but He promised to deliver you out of them all.
He promised to make a way of escape out of every challenge he permitted to come your way. If He allowed any challenge to come your way, it is because you are above that challenge l. In you there is a great ability to overcome it if you can look inward relying on the Holy Spirit because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4 :4.
Scripture speaking 1 Corinthians 10 :13; declares, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
So in every temptation God has provided a way of escape.
That is why no affliction should shift your focus off God who knows the way of escape but enquire from him always as David did and won all the battles he fought during his life time.
Your position therefore in every affliction is to rest in God, and be at peace with Him so He can work out your deliverance.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, thank you for delivering me out of all troubles.
