TEXT: “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9 :6
Rhema For Living 6th June 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
Saul asked Jesus “What wilt thou have me to do?” Saul encountered Jesus, he did not say what he wanted, but he asked what he would do. What are you ready to do for God or all you are interested in is what you can get? Jesus looked at the people coming for him to feed them; he knew they were only interested in what they can get from him.
Are you only interested in what you can benefit from serving God or what you can add to the kingdom of God?
Do you have burden, vision for the kingdom? That burden, vision, target is what set you on fire and that is the blue print of your life. In your assignment lies your consignment. Be actively involved in kingdom matter. Let it be your personal business. In John 14 :2; Jesus said, “In my Father’s house…” my father’s business, be concerned with Kingdom matters.
All the other things you are running after, praying and fasting for, God give me money, chikdren, husband, job, house, visa etc; helper are added to seekers of God in the kingdom. Just seek first the kingdom of God.
Jesus says in Matthew 6 :32; your heavenly Father knows you are in need of all these things. The unbelievers run after these things but’ seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness’ all these other things (material possessions) you are running after will be added unto you.
Seek God above anything and you will have everything.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to make you my number one.
