There is the right spirit for unusual exploit in the works of the Lord and it takes the Lord in stirring up that Spirit. It is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God. No wonder David cried in Psalms 51 :10;.”Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Weariness in Kingdom service is because one’s spirit has not be stirred up for that task. The Holy Ghost cannot breathe on you and you are passionless in your task.
There must be a yearning and uncommon drive to accomplish more. And as you carry out that task and long for more of His touch, He keeps stirring you up and quickening your mortal body for greater works. In Numbers 14, the entire congregation of the children of Israel were condemned for destruction by God except for Caleb and Joshua because they provoked the LORD.
God said of them “Because all those men which have seen my glory and my miracles I did in Egypt and in the wilderness and have tempted me now these ten times and have not hearkened to my voice: surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it.
“But of Caleb, He said, “But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him and hath followed me truly, him will I bring into the land wherein he went and his seed possess it.” Num. 14 :22 – 24.
You need the right spirit to wholly follow the Lord and do all He expects of you.
So open your mouth and ask Him to stir up that Spirit in you for kingdom service.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, stir up the right spirit in me, for unusual exploit in the kingdom.
