TOPIC: Think (3)
DAILY BIBLE READING: Isaiah 19-21
TEXT “The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh”. *Eccl. 4:5
Idleness of the hand is as a result of idleness if the mind. If you can think, you will see what to engage in to put out food in your table, shelter over your head and do other greater things.
Rather than think, many are busy complaining day and night. The time they would have used in exploring their minds allowing the Holy Ghost to inspire them is the time they used in roaming about engaging in modern begging.
Others sit down several hours watching soap operas I. Series only to stretch their hands to the one that engaged in work to meet their needs , if not done, they give him or her all sorts of negative names.
Then God said, let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven, he expects you to think, engage your gift, manifesting it blessing others and have returns and He will be glorified by men. How can you be saved, yet remain a slave because you refuse to work on your mind and engage it wisely to reason your way to the top?
Romans 12:2 therefore instructs, “And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God”. Your minds can be renewed to think as God expects by engaging it in the word of God, filtering what comes to it by hearing or seeing also praying it from the hold of the wicked and observing Phillipians 4:8.
I see you a completely transformed being as you engage your mind in thinking.
Prayer: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I awake to thinking.
