TOPIC: Cast That Burden

Several believers are living under the weight of burdens because they ignorantly do not cast their burdens upon the Lord who cares for them.
Casting your burden upon the Lord means handing over that challenge, issue, problem to the Lord and allowing Him take over them. You cannot handover your burdens to Him yet you are still troubled and worried about them.
Casting your cares upon the Lord requires your faith and trust in His ability to take care of them. That is why scripture says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comets to God must believe that He is able to do that which He has promised.
In Matthew 11 :28 – 30; Jesus gave an invitation to all the labour and are heavy laden to come and cast them upon Him exchanging them for His which gives peace and rest.
He said specifically, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me: for I am meek, and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light “ What is that burden that is giving you sleepless nights? Cast it upon the Lord and leave it there. Is it the issue of family life, business, academics etc?
Whatever it is, the invitation Jesus gave covers it, so cast it upon Him for He cares for you. When you cast it upon the Lord as God instructs, then you can yield to His counsel in Matthew 6 :34..
In the face of confrontation, you can do as Moses told the Israelites in Exodus 14 :14.
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
I pray for you, the grace to cast your burden upon the Lord, let it rest on you.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I cast all my burdens upon you Lord. Thank you for caring for me.
