Rhema For Living 19 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
No matter how far you have strayed away from the plan and purpose of God, from your first love, from the goals and objectives you had which ought to have been accomplished by now, from the expectations of all who looked up to you, please don’t give up on yourself, “For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Job 14 :7.
The outcome of situations of life depends on the individual undergoing it and not on God because God is God, the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13 :8).
The God is possibilities who created the world out of nothing but framed it by His word, and sustains it by His word. He is the God of Again and can turn around captivity like a dream. He has reservations for his beloved to restore them to their original positions when they go astray. He is the God of second chance, with a backup plan to bring His own back again to relevance fulfilling destiny.
The speaker in our anchor text would have chosen to remain in a Condit of pity like some believers do forgetting that they are making their enemies to rejoice over them.
But he took a stand of being confident in God, and having faith in His visitation which will give him victory over the enemies. And that should be your stand in every circumstance of life however bad it may be.
The God of Again is too faithful to fail. Despite all Naomi lost, when she returned, God gave her am amazing consolation in Ruth and whenever the lineage of Christ is brought to light, her name is mentioned.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I activate my hope in you. I will rise again.
