Beyond Your Father’s House (2)

When Joseph was running errands for his father, reporting the evil deeds of his brothers, to him he never thought one day, he would leave his father’s house and stop such task for his father. Though he dreamt of a glory but did not know the interpretation of his dreams hence he kept telling his brothers who hated him about his dreams. With the coat of many colours his father made for him as a gift of a special love for him, he would have been contended being such an envy to his brothers.
But God had a greater plan for him and he had a free ride to Egypt the place of his glory. Most times to take you out of your father’s house, God would orchestrate a challenge because ordinarily the flesh likes to stay in the place it is used to, conquering the problems it is used to, not provoking new ones.
In his father’s house David was looking after his father’s flock tearing down lions and bears that came up against them and that was exploit, but God was preparing him for a greater task beyond his father’s house to care for His people, to conquer their enemies.
So what did he do? The Philistines came up against the armies of Israel and they had a faint as their captain called Goliath who terrorize the camp of the Israelites and they could not lift up their head until David showed up and brought him down in the name of the LORD of Host and tht singular act relocated him from his father’s house to the palace. God’s plan for you is beyond your father’s house.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I open up myself for the plan you have for me beyond my father’s house.
