Exercise Your Royalty

TEXT: “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen”. Revelation 1 :6
Rhema for Living 17 February 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
The kings of the earth employ pains taking efforts to raise and culture their children because they’re royalty. Their kids don’t walk , talk, dress or behave like everyone else. The expectations are even greater when the child in question is the heir-apparent. That is why Solomon said, “For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live” Proverbs 4 :3 – 4.
Solomon certainly was not David’s only child, yet he said, “I was my father’s son” because he was the one groomed for the throne. There was a special training David needed to bequeath in him which the other sons didn’t get. As God’s children, we’re His heirs: “And if children, them heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ….” Romans 8 :17.

You are a joint-heir with Jesus Christ. You are not an ordinary person; you are a Prince of power with God. Your heavenly Father owns the whole world and has placed you in charge of His possessions. No wonder the Bible says all things are yours, 1 Corinthians 3 :21.
What an honour to be an heir of God! Exercise your royalty. Make up your mind to walk, talk and live as a king that you are.
Refuse to use beggarly language; the children of Kings don’t talk cheap; they exercise authority carrying themselves with dignity.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I will operate from this day as the royalty that I am.
