Rhema For Living 15 September 2022 MESSAGE

Everyone who made impact in scriptures was empowered and they stepped out to achieve it. One significant thing about them was that while they stepped out there, they stayed connected to their source. No matter the position they occupied and the land they were in, they were not disconnected from their source who is God.

God is the maker of men. He is the source of wisdom, power, strength and whatever good thing you can think of. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning” James 1 :17.

If He empowers you today, you have to stay connected to Him so as to remain empowered for greater impact. Without Him, we can do nothing. Your connection to Him makes you bring forth much fruit; but if you are disconnected, you gradually dry up losing all He had deposited in you.
In a strange land in Egypt, Joseph stayed connected to God. He was sold out by his brothers from his covenant home, but that did not affect his connection. As a servant in his master, Potiphar’s house, he stayed connected to God with His fear rooted in his heart.

His connection to God was intact, hence he served his master faithfully. He rejected the evil his master’s wife presented to him saying, “How can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? (Gen. 39 :9). In the prison and even when he became the number two man in Egypt he stayed connected. He told his brothers when he came to Egypt, “This do, and live, for I fear God” Gen. 42:18.

No wonder he made a great impact. As you stay connected, you shall keep making impact.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to stay connected to you till the end.
