The Batle is the Lord’s

TEXT:Â “This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and make thine head from thee… And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands “. 1 Samuel 17 :46 – 47.

That battle has stayed this long because you kept seeing it as your battle; hence fighting with the energy of the flesh. Any battle against a child of God is the Lord’s battle, He is the one that will wrought victory through you, you are only the physician being in the fight.
For days Goliath has been threatening the armies if Israel, yet they could not go out against him, they were afraid and chicken hearted due to his size because they saw the battle as their battle comparing Goliath with their physical strength. And that is an error in the kingdom which ought to be corrected.
God is committed in fighting for His people and He can bring down adversary however He chooses. Yours is to play your part going to that war in his name declaring the judgment He commanded and fighting as He commands. The devil has been around for over 6,000 years, you cannot bring him down with the energy of the flesh. It takes engaging divinity, the one in charge of the fight against you to bring him down.
It takes engaging the celestial over terrestrial battles to enjoy the victory of Christ in every aspect of life.
In the story line of our text, what adults of various ages could not do, a teenager called David with the understanding that any battle against a child of God is a battle against the Lord did very cheaply.
His understanding of how to fight made God ridiculed the opposition by bringing him down very cheaply with a sling and stone.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I handover this battle of my life (mention it). The battle is yours.
