Devotional Message

Sowing seeds is hard work, but the hardest part of any process is often the waiting period between planting and harvesting. You keep doing the right thing—staying faithful in your work, showing kindness to difficult people, praying for loved ones, or serving quietly—and yet, day after day, nothing seems to change above the surface.

In Galatians 6:9, Paul acknowledges that weary feelings are real, but he urges us not to let internal weariness turn into giving up. Seeds grow in the dark before they break through the soil. Just because you don’t see immediate results doesn’t mean God isn’t working underground. Your breakthrough has an “appointed season.” Keep showing up, keep doing good, and trust that God is keeping track of every faithful step you take.

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father,

You see the effort I put in daily, even when no one else notices. Lord, on days when I feel weary in my mind and tempted to give up, refresh my soul with Your Holy Spirit.

Give me the patience to endure the waiting seasons of life and the faith to trust Your divine timing. Guard my heart from discouragement and help me keep my eyes focused on You rather than immediate visible results. Strengthen my hands to keep doing good, knowing that at the appointed time, a harvest of blessing will come.

I place my weariness into Your hands today and receive Your fresh strength to press forward.
