“So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, ‘May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!’”
Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father,
Today I come before You with a heart full of trust, just as Daniel did. Even when I am surrounded by trials and uncertainty, I know that You are with me. You are the God who rescues, the God who sees, and the God who never fails.
Like Daniel, help me to serve You continually—not only in times of peace, but also in seasons of challenge. Let my devotion remain steadfast, even when others doubt, even when the path ahead is unclear, and even when I feel afraid.
Lord, I ask for courage to stand firm in faith. Give me strength to remain obedient to Your will, even when it’s not popular or easy. Let the light of Your presence shine through me so others may see Your power in the midst of my trials.
When I feel trapped in situations that seem impossible—when I am surrounded by the “lions” of fear, anxiety, loneliness, or hardship—remind me that You are still in control. You are the same God who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel, and You are the same today.
Rescue me, Lord—not only from danger, but from doubt. Deliver me from discouragement, and fill me with hope. Let my life bring You glory as I walk with bold faith, confident that You are my protector, my provider, and my ever-present help.
Strengthen my heart. Renew my spirit. Let me not be shaken, for my trust is in You alone.
