BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV)
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart that longs for Your peace. Thank You for the invitation to lay my burdens at Your feet and find rest in You. Life often feels heavy, and the weight of worries, fears, and responsibilities can be overwhelming. But in Your presence, I find relief, comfort, and strength.
Lord, I surrender my burdens to You. The things that keep me awake at night, the struggles I carry in my heart, and the uncertainties of tomorrow—I place them all in Your loving hands. Help me to trust that You are working all things for my good, even when I cannot see the way forward.
Jesus, You have promised to give rest to the weary, and today I come to You just as I am. Teach me to walk in Your gentleness and humility. Let me not strive in my own strength but rely on the grace and wisdom that You so freely give. When my heart is restless, remind me to rest in Your unchanging love.
Father, I pray for peace to fill my mind and soul. Calm the storms within me and replace my anxieties with Your perfect peace. Let my heart be still, knowing that You are God, and You hold my life in Your hands. May I find refreshment in Your presence and strength to face whatever this day may bring.
I lift up those around me who are weary and burdened as well. For those struggling with stress, grief, or uncertainty, may they also find rest in You. Use me as an instrument of Your peace, to encourage and uplift those who need a reminder of Your love.
Lord, help me to walk in step with You today. Instead of carrying burdens I was never meant to bear alone, let me learn to trust You more deeply. Teach me to live in the freedom of Your grace, knowing that I don’t have to do everything on my own.
Thank You for always being near, for never turning me away, and for offering me rest when I need it most. Let my heart remain anchored in Your promises, and let my soul find true rest in You today and always.
