Most Holy God,
Today, I come before You with a heart full of longing and love. Like the psalmist, I declare my affection for Your dwelling place—not merely for walls and temples, but for the sacred space where Your presence abides. There is no greater joy than to be near You, no sweeter rest than to sit in the shadow of Your glory. Make my soul a sanctuary where You are always welcome.
Lord of Hosts,
I thank You that through Christ, You have chosen to make Your home not just among us but within us. Your Spirit lives in me, and yet I still yearn to encounter You more deeply—to gather with Your people, to worship in unity, and to witness Your glory in the assembly of the faithful. Let every space I enter with reverence become a place where heaven meets earth.
God of Majesty,
I confess that too often I’ve rushed past sacred moments. I’ve treated holy places as ordinary and sacred time as disposable. Forgive me for every time I’ve drawn near to You with distracted thoughts or a divided heart. Renew in me a holy fear, a sacred awe, and a love that trembles before Your glory. Teach me to enter Your presence with humility and gratitude.
Refiner of Hearts,
Make my life a true dwelling place for You. Cleanse every corner of my soul, remove what dishonors You, and fill me with Your Spirit. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be fitting offerings for the King of glory. May my life reflect the holiness of Your house and the radiance of Your presence.
Shepherd of Your Church,
Today I lift up the body of Christ across the world. Strengthen our unity, revive our passion for worship, and purify our altars. May every church, home, or hidden gathering overflow with Your glory. Remind us that we are living stones, being built together into a dwelling in which You live by Your Spirit.
Father of the Forgotten,
I pray for those who feel distant from Your presence—those who are hurting, lost, or wandering. Draw them into the shelter of Your love. Let them know that Your house has room for them too, and that Your heart longs to welcome them home. May they discover the peace that only Your presence can give.
Faithful One,
As I go about my day, let my heart remain in Your house—even when my feet are elsewhere. Teach me to carry Your presence wherever I go. May my thoughts be centered on You, my words shaped by Your truth, and my actions marked by love. For truly, Lord, I love the place where You dwell—and I long to dwell with You forever.
