TOPIC: Not An Orphan
MEMORISE: Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I wiIl make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. Isaiah 60:15
READ: Psalm 68:5-6
- A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
-
God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Open Heaven for Teens 4th July 2021 MESSAGE:
Losing one or both parents is very traumatizing. A child left to take responsibility for his life, without prior notice or empowerment will most likely live a frustrated life if surrounded by uncaring relatives. Some become homeless and school drop-outs in the process of seeking refuge elsewhere.
No one becomes motherless, fatherless or an orphan by choice, but it’s not the end of the world; there is hope.
Are you presently being maltreated because you lost a parent or both?. I decree into your life that God will raise help from unexpected sources for you before the end of this week in Jesus name.
God is the protector and Father of all orphans; He will certainly not turn away when they call on Him. Call on Him today and He will help you. However, there are those who have both parents and are hostile to orphans.
If you are one of them, you’d better stop so that you don’t suffer when God fights for them. He is the defender of orphans.
KEY POINT: Be kind to everyone, particularly orphans.
HYMN – The Comforter Has Come
- O spread the tidings round,
Wherever man is found,
Wherever human hearts
and human woes abound.
Let every Christian tongue
proclaim the joyful sound:
The Comforter has come!
CHORUS
The Comforter has come!
The Comforter has come!
The Holy Ghost from heav’n,
the Father’s promise giv’n,
O spread the tidings ’round,
wherever man is found:
The Comforter has come!
- The long, long night is past;
the morning breaks at last;
And hushed the dreadful wail
and fury of the blast,
As o’er the golden hills
the day advances fast!
The Comforter has come! -
Lo, the great King of kings,
with healing in His wings,
To every captive soul
a full deliv’rance brings;
And thro’ the vacant cells
the song of triumph rings;
The Comforter has come! -
O boundless love divine!
How shall this tongue of mine
To wond’ring mortals tell
the matchless grace divine –
That I, a child of hell,
should in His image shine?
The Comforter has come!
