1. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

1. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

Its a new year! I know that you have plans for the year; now is the time to start. There are reasons you must start now, one of which is to avoid wastage of time because if you dont spend your time on your goals, you will spend it on frivolous activities that will profit you nothing. Before you know it, we will be in the last quarter of the year and if you start then, you might not achieve all your goals for the year. So, if you intend to learn a skill this year, now is the time to start. If you intend to write an examination this year, you need to do a reading timetable and start following it judiciously.

However, it will be impossible to start anything if you dont have goals to achieve and a plan that would help you achieve them. Therefore, ask yourself what you would like to achieve this year and make plans that will help you achieve your goals. Ensure that you evaluate your progress at the end of each day. Also, dont forget God as you make your plans. Ask Him what He would have you do for Him this year.

Key Point: Start now, dont delay.
