But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
Matthew 6:3
Read
Matthew 6:3-4
True giving is not about seeking attention or recognition; it comes from a heart of love and sincerity. The Bible teaches us that acts of generosity should be done quietly, without a desire for public praise, because God sees and rewards those who give in secret.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many churches quietly supported the less privileged without publicising their acts of kindness. This is the kind of giving that pleases God, one that is motivated by love rather than the desire for applause. When you give to the needy or help someone without mentioning it to another person, God Himself will reward you.
My dear child, from today, look out for opportunities to give, whether through your time, talents, or resources. Give selflessly without expecting anything in return because God does not measure the size of your gift but the sincerity of your heart. When you give from your heart, God will bless you beyond your imagination.
