Let God Lead (2)
by Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman

BIBLE READING: Genesis 12-14

TEXT: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way”. Psalms 37 :23.

Every step of a man led by God leads to the fulfillment of his glorious destiny. At every point in time his goals and dreams in God are fulfilled according to divine timing despite challenges and oppositions of life which arise on his path. God’s leading always brings him out of every trials and temptation of life gloriously, because He will not suffer his feet to be moved.

Why then is God’s leading, obviously revealed in some persons and not in others? This is because God is committed to ordering the steps of a good man, who He delights in his ways. And no man is termed good in the kingdom except by first being a child of the kingdom, being born again, and then consciously and deliberately obeying the principles and commandments of God which in summary is a life of love thereby displaying His goodness.

Do you want your life to be on a divine course this year, soaring on the wings of divine direction? Then choose to be a person, who never deviates from what pleases the Father. God does not lead or order the steps of an evil person or those who delights in wickedness. Whoever operates outside His will or ways is disconnecting from His leading. His Spirit is holy, hence called the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost and does not accommodate evil.

That is why a man once led by God can be disconnected when he deviates from being good but before men he may seem on track until he makes a costly mistake, like Samson who “…wist not that the LORD was departed from him” (Judges 16 :20).

If Jesus enjoyed divine presence and leading by pleasing the Father (John 8 :29), and always doing good, (Acts 10 :38), so can you do the same by His grace.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, order my step Lord in following your leading.
