Make the Right Choice (7)

Scriptures speaking in Romans 8 :14; says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God”. There is therefore no sonship outside the leading of the Spirit. To enjoy divine immunity we have to make choices according to the dictates of the Spirit and not by our senses.
God leads us in various ways. He responds to us when enquire from Him. All enquiry does not mean it must take a certain period of time in asking and receiving. No! As you enquire in some instances, God responds instantly. He says in Isaiah 65 :24; “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear”. Just be in a father-son relationship with God and you will know how He leads you.
God relates with us as individuals but always in line with His will.
No pressure or circumstance of life should make us make choices carnally and become casualties of life. If we can pause and think engaging the Spirit, only what He permits becomes our experience. Just imagine, Abraham, the sent man, and the older and elderly one asked Lot his nephew, the person he groomed to make a choice of where to stay, while he would stay anywhere left.
Yet Lot whom by virtue of how long he had stayed with Abraham and should have had a better understanding still messed . He allowed his sight to deceive him and he chose Sodom and Gomorrah, the place which physically looked flourishing and he ruined his destiny. That singular mistake swallowed all he lived for because it disconnected him from the people of God.
That shall not be your portion.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I disconnect my life from wrong choices. Lead me Holy Spirit.
