Omega Fire Ministries Rhema for Living 13 January 2022 Message

There are persons that feel their positions and placement in life is so high that they cannot be influenced by anyone, so they can keep whatever company they choose to. As a matter of fact m, one’s placement in life 8s actually judged by the company he keeps, not the title he bears because such company determines his ultimate end.

That was why Shechem the don of Harmar and Hivite judged Danah a daughter of the covenant wrongly and defiled her. Scripture says, “….Evil communications corrupt good manners” 1 Cor. 15 :33; . Consciously or unconsciously things we think, say or do are products of positive or negative influence on us which comes in diverse forms.

If therefore you are a king, let the company you keep be kingly. That was the doom of Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, whom of not for the covenant that God made with David his father to have his seed always on the throne, would have lost the entire Israel.

After the death of his father Solomon, the entire Israel made him king as the days of his fathers but because of the unkingly company he keeps and chose to listen to their counsel despising those of the elders, the wise men who counseled his father, he lost ten tribes in Israel, 2 Chron.10. He, a king who has an identity to treasure and protect chose to keep friends because they grew up with him and not based on godly values and principles which should be Paramount to a king.

As a child of God, with a great destiny, who are your friends? What principles and values of life bind you together.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, help me Lord, to make right friends and choices.
