The Place of Spiritual Warfare(2)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 3 John 1
TEXT: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. – Matthew 11 :12.
A good warfare is an unrelenting warfare. It involves prayer that continues till something happens. It is a fight of faith of faith. It is saying to yourself, “and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:7).
A good warfare is one that is dependent on the voice of God because we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6 :12) and as such, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of Strongholds, casting down imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God (2 Cor. 10 :4-5).
The Bible commands that we should be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might and put on the whole armour of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil! It went further to mention all in Ephesians 6:14-17, because each piece of armour is important if you will fight victoriously and remain standing.
You should not lose sight of spiritual matters. In Shiloh, Hannah separated herself to pray while others were feasting and that was why Eli thought Hannah was drunk. No wonder she had her evidence in Samuel. Jabez also, did not allow himself carry on with his controversial state, he called upon the God of Israel in with his controversial state, he called upon the God of Israel in prayer and his request was granted.
I pray for you today – your life shall be a reference point. You will testify as Paul did, “I have fought a good fight of faith. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4 :7).
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive fresh fire for spiritual warfare, in Jesus name
