The Wisdom of God Works (3)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: James 1-3.
TEXT: But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be in treated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. – James 3 :17.
The wisdom of God works any day, anytime and anywhere. For example, the Bible says, “a soft answer turneth away wrath” (Proverbs 15 :1)
We must therefore, learn how to relate with people without hurting them with our choice of words and actions. We must learn to empathize, and put ourselves in the place of that person and see what it feels like to be at the receiving end.
Also, learn to dwell in unity. “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” (Psalms 133 :1).
God loves unity. His blessings are revealed in a place of oneness. About the people of Babel, He said “nothing shall be restrained from them which they have imagined to do” (Genesis 11 :6), because of their unity. Another example of unity is Nehemiah and the people, who built the wall expressly within fifty-two weeks because the people had a mind to work and gave themselves to the service of God.
It is God’s wish for you to stand out in every aspect of life as the head but you have to make a conscious effort to walk in His wisdom to enforce it. We should therefore, retrace our steps to the ancient path and walk in the highway of holiness. God’s wisdom works any day, anywhere and anytime and your life is not an exception.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I embrace your wisdom, and reject everything contrary to it, in Jesus name.
