BUT THE CONSPIRACY FAILED

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Genesis 25-28
TEXT:“And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counselor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.” 2 Samuel 15 :12.
Child of God, I introduce to you a clause that will mark the end of every conspiracy against your life however strong it maybe.” But the conspiracy failed” shall be the outcome of every conspiracy against your life and all your interest. You are a child of God, and whatever or whosoever gathered together to plot against your destiny, shall be summarized in your testimony that the conspiracy failed.
If you look closely at our anchor text, you will discover that with David’s counselor Ahithophel coming to Absalom’s camp and the increase of the people with him continually, the conspiracy was reported, “And the conspiracy was strong.” To them everything is very ready and sure to displace David and enthroned Absalom as king. But they forgot that there is a God in heaven that rules in the affairs of men, the God who is the judge of all the earth (Gen. 18 :25), who hates conspiracy and can go to any length to frustrate it when it is against his children, the elect. He declares His judgment severally against every form of conspiracy in His word and executes them for His elect to glorify His name in their lives.
In Isaiah 8 :9 – 10; He says, “Associates yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far counntries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.” Also Isaiah 7 :7; says, “Thus saith the Lord GOD, it shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.” And in Isaiah 54 :15; it says they shall fall for your sake, while in verse 17, it says no weapon formed against you shall prosper and also gave you authority to condemn every tongue risen against you in judgment. As you begin to pray now as
David did, every conspiracy against you shall result in, “but the conspiracy failed.”
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let the conspiracy against my life and interest fail by fire.
