Integrity Matters (3)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Lamentation 1-2
TEXT: “But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.” Psalms 26 :11.
Speaking of the redeemed 8n Matthew 5 :14; scripture says, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” but sad to say, many believers in reality are contradictions of light because of lack of integrity. Even in the body of Christ, people do not value their words because they do not honour their words, how much more those out there.
These group of believers make promises that they will not fulfill,, give appointment that they will not honour parading lack of integrity at every instance, yet they confess with others that they are the light of the world. Hear this; it is a shame when you say something and the one you spoke to keep repeating “are you sure?” or begging you to honour your word.
Your word should be your bond. God is a God of integrity and if he gave birth to you with His spirit alive in you, you ought to be like Him. When the Holy Spirit does His ministry inside of you, He keeps transforming you to be Him, helping you to uphold integrity at all times.
In the circular world, there are men of integrity, very principled that when they say a thing, they keep to it to the extent that you can predict their stand on issues by virtue of who they were overtime. The difference between them and the redeemed is that they are not saved and their integrity is in the energy of the flesh and no one is justified in the flesh except by the blood of the lamb and His righteousness.
Why then would your integrity not exceed those of the world to be the light of the world? The striking difference of salvation with Holy Ghost in you should shine forth the Godly principles of your kingdom with dignity drawing men to your God.
So make a commitment today with the help of the Holy Spirit to be a person of integrity and as you evaluate yourself, you will be amazed, the person you have become.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I make a commitment today for integrity. Help me Holy Ghost.
