Use Your Time Wisely

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 37-39
TEXT: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalms 90 :12.
Time is one resource that is not in abundant supply which you must learn to use wisely. Everyone, no matter how great or small has been give the same number of hours each day, but what you do with yours is what’s important. Moses had this in mind when he prayed to the Lord to “Teach us to number our days”.
A better translation of that is “teach us to prepare or schedule our days.”
When you wake up in the morning, don’t just roll off your bed and stumble blind into the day. Schedule your tasks for the day and stay focused. Trust the Holy Spirit to guide you into prioritizing your daily activities. Ask Him to help you save time and you will discover how much you are able to accomplish on a daily basis. Then your life will become productive, effective and progressive.
At the start of your day, spend quality time to fellowship with the Holy Spirit in prayer and in the word. Ask Him to guide you as you have to do and allot time to them, giving priority to those tasks that are most important in achieving your goals throughout the day, keep track of your time; don’t get distracted from the things you have purposed to do.
I have discovered that people place value on your time when they know you value your time.
At the end of the day, while reviewing the day’s accomplishments, you will discover that you have achieved so much and your heart will be filled with gratitude to God..
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me Lord to use my time wisely.
