TEXT: “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before”. Job 42 :10.

The ways of God are truly higher than the ways of men. His divine mysteries dumbfounds human reasoning but always produces mastery that terminates misery. Of all Job said and did, his situation remained the same until he engaged this divine secret which I tagged THE JOB FORMULAR FOR TURNAROUND, and God turned his captivity around.
The Job formular is shifting the focus of your prayer from you to others, interceding for them for God to intervene in their case and meet their needs. All the previous chapters and verses until our anchor text centered on Job yet nothing occurred. But when he engaged this divine principle of praying for his friends, Jehovah stepped in and his situation changed. God restored his lost glory, also gave him twice as much as he had before.
See the extent of his blessings Job 42 :11 – 17. They were so as massive beyond human imagination. God blessed every aspect of his life bountifully.
There are certain captivity that will not turn around until you apply this Job formular of praying. There are certain depths of restoration or strange divine encounters that will not occur until you become a selfless kingdom intercessor. The “I, me myself” prayer pattern has eaten deep into the body of Christ. Today it is everybody for himself and God for us all, hence many are still under bondage and several yet to experience true restoration of wasted years.
Child of God, it’s time to take some time off from you and focus your prayers on those who are in need of God’s intervention. You can begin with those in need of what you believed God for and progress from here. As you passionately pray for them, heaven will smile on you.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, arise in the life of Mr/Mrs A meet their needs Lord.
