Multiplication Despite Affliction

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 62-63
TEXT: “But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.” (Exodus 1 :12)

God has configured the believer to be fruitful and multiply in every circumstance of life even in adverse conditions. Through the believers God reveals His blessings and unlimited abilities which are higher than any situation of life to contend with. In Genesis God blessed man to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and have dominion. The redeemed have been restored back to their divine nature of abundant fruitfulness and multiplication, So, you do not have any reason not to multiply in every aspect of life.
God created man. He made Adam and through him, he formed Eve and through their spread and multiplication, we came into existence also to multiply far more exceedingly as Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10 :10). So, by redemption, we are to multiply exceedingly both physically and spiritually, nothing should hinder us.
The life of the Israelites in Egypt gives us a picture of the fruitful believers God expects us to be, and even better ones operating under a better covenant with better promises (Heb. 8 :6) with the Holy Spirit resident in us. 1 Cor. 6 :19.
No situation of life is therefore permitted to keep us barren or unproductive.
See what scripture says of the Israelites in Exodus 1 :7, “And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.” It was their great spread that became a threat to the Egyptians, and they decided to reduce and limit them by afflicting them, but it was to no avail because the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied.
You are of the same lineage. So multiply.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to be conscious of who I am.
