Conquer that Giant

And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom? – 1 Samuel 18 :7- 8.

What you conquer in life determines your position and rating. You have not come to limelight because you have been conquering dwarfs, not aiming at the giant.
Nobody knew David in Isreal. Even in his father’s house he was insignificant in the scheme of things. In fact, when Samuel came to his father’s house to anoint a king over Isreal in 1 Samuel 16, he was not called upon. Jesse paraded all his other sons – Eliab, Abinadab, Shammah and others. He made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel twice, he did not remember David. It was Samuel who asked Jesse if the seven were all his children and Jesse replied, “There remaineth yet the youngest, and behold, he keepeth the sheep.” In other words, he is not relevant in the matter at hand, he is only good in taking care of sheep (1 Samuel 16 :1 – 11).
Child of God, there are minor challenges but there is a major challenge that projects whoever solves it to limelight. There is a giant that is waiting for you to take him down to manifest your glory. David had been tackling challenges in the bush while taking care of his father’s sheep.
He smote the lion and the bear that came after the sheep but nobody knew, only God took note. But out there was still the giant Goliath, the major problem he needed to solve to shoot his destiny to limelight. And when he brought down Goliath, he became a song in Isreal (1 Sam. 18 :6 – 7).
I pray for you today – that giant that would project you to limelight, may it manifest and fall by your hand, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER.
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, that giant that would announce me in life, manifest and fall by my hands.
