BIBLE READING: 2 Samuel 16-18

OFM Rhema For Living 6 April 2023 TEXT: “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in Mount Zion” – Isa. 8 :18.

One major way in being an instrument for signs and wonders is by preaching the gospel. It is be evangelizing; by winning souls for the gospel. As you are involved in soul winning, God reveals His power through you. Mark 16 :20; “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

It is in the preaching the gospel that you will reveal the gifts of God in you.
You will not know the extent of what God has deposited in you as an instrument for signs and wonder. No wonder Mathew 5 :16; says, “Let you light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”. God expects us to go out for souls and as we do, He communicates signs and wonder through us for the gospel is the power of God unto salvation Romans 1 :16.

Signs and wonders makes believing easier. Hence Jesus said in John 4 :48; Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe”. So signs and wonders give credence to what we say. They facilitate believing. As an instrument for signs and wonders, it’s high time you went out all the way for soul winning and let God use you unusually for signs and wonders.

The world is waiting for the sons of God to liberate them. Roman 8 :19; “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God”. Enough of procrastination, arise and set out by the Spirit and you will indeed affect the world as a vessel for signs and wonders including your children.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I arise as an instrument for signs and wonders.
