BIBLE READING:Â Job: 28-30
TEXT: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”- Matthew 6 :33
OFM Rhema For Living 4th June 2023 MESSAGE: Seekers of the kingdom of God and His righteousness always end up revealing the awesome faithfulness of God in their lives because they are not following God because of what they need from Him but because they love Him. They seek to know more of Him to enjoy intimacy with Him and as such they go for His ways which are higher than the ways of men and His thoughts which are higher than their thoughts. Isa. 55:
Situations of life in the lives of God seekers may not be pleasant per say, but they do not focus on them to determine their relationship with their maker.
Rather they focus on the integrity and faithfulness of God, on His Ominipotence, His almightiness, awesomeness and His indescribable beauty as He reveals Himself to them. They trust Him and they obey Him dwelling on personal encounters they have with Him.
God is therefore committed in blessing them. He is committed to showcasing His glory and beauty through them beyond human imagination and comprehension.
He says in His word in 1 Corinthians 2 :9, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” That is the reason when the glory of God begins to glow in their lives, people who are ignorant of their love for the kingdom are envious..
But notwithstanding, lovers of God continue to reveal the glory of God reserved for them. They are bound to show forth the praises of Him who has called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Pet. 2 :9.
While others who follow God because of what they want to get from Him struggle in getting them, they the seekers of the kingdom soar in the faithfulness of God in fulfilling His promises to those who seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, empower me afresh to seek first your kingdom.
