From Nobody To Somebody (6)

OFM Rhema For Living 27 May 2023 MESSAGE: Whoever wants to move from being a nobody to being a person of relevance at all times, must of a necessity follow Jesus. He must walk with the Lord following Him as He leads by His spirit Rom. 8 :14. God is a maker if me . Whoever follows Him moves from lack to abundance, from shame to grace.
Hence the psalmist declares, “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head” Ps. 3 :3; And in Psalms 23 :1 – 2; “The LORD is my shepherd: I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters”.
In John 10 :27; Jesus declared, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
His sheep follows Him and He guides them through the path of life to their place of profiting.
Isaiah 48 :17; “Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go”.
Every one who made meaningful impact in scriptures did by following God.
Many had nothing tangible written to their names, but when they gave themselves to the leading of God who led them through different phase of life, they became men and women that impacted their world.
We could make references to them today because their lives became proofs that truth, God transforms men who follow Him from nobody to somebody.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father ! As I begin to pray, empower me afresh to follow you.
