OFM Rhema For Living 18 April 2023 MESSAGE: When you are in the waiting room, you don’t look at the biting serpent but the serpent of brass to live. Numbers 21 :8, “And the Lord said unto Moses make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live”. Jesus did not look at the cross but endured the shame and focused on the joy that was set before him, he ensure the cross, Hebrews 12 :2.
Child of God, waiting time is not wasting time. Waiters serve. Only workers are paid. Genesis 40 :6; And Joseph came unto them in the morning and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his Lord’s house, saying, wherefore look ye so sadly today?…
Joseph was serving in his waiting and it was in his service, that he interpreted the dream of the Baker and Butler that brought his dream to fulfillment.
Cornelius and even Zechariah were told by the Angel that visited each of them that their prayers and alms giving had come before God. In your service is the answer to your waiting.
There are benefits for serving Job 36 :11, “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures”. Join a department in your local church, do something while you are waiting, serve in your workplace, neighborhood, office, business area and anywhere you find yourself.
When you are in the waiting room of the Lord, you don’t run here and there! You stay focused like Mary, she sat at the Lord’s feet, Luke 10 :42.
I see you reaping the benefits of waiting on the Lord.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to wait till the end..
